The book includes, among others, biographies of commanders who commanded the Polish Armed Forces in the West and the Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade at Tobruk and commanders of the 2nd Polish Corps. An abbreviated outline shows the participation of the mentioned units in battles in which soldiers died. The names of the fallen soldiers, whose deposits have not yet been taken up, are published in full. Complementing the texts are photos of the mementos of the deposits(including orders, decorations, medals, ID cards, etc.) that the soldiers had at the time of their death.
