Medals from the period of the Partitions of Poland, Award Medal of the Universal National Exhibition in Lviv, 1894, designed by Cyprian Godebski, Paris (?); Av: Palm branch, next to POWSZECHNA WYSTAWA / KRAJOWA / 1894; Rw: Winged Genius in front, imposing laurel wreaths to personifications of industry and agriculture and art, around tools and products of industry and art, below a fragment of the Lviv skyline, in the background a radiant sun, at the bottom the signature Cyp. Godebski - H. Nocq; on the rim a scored punca with the letter A; Chomyn 647, Industry-Art-Politics 378 (ungilded); silver gilt (?), 63.5 mm, 83.20 g; beautifully preserved with a subtle patina at the rim.
