rare variety with damaged numeral 6 in the date on the stamp, disc cracking
According to Professor Boris Paszkiewicz (Silesiorum Moneta, p. 315), the coin was struck with a damaged numeral 6 on the stamp. "This is a secondary technical defect of the stamp, which has no significance for the issue of this coin; however, we show this variation because in the previous literature it has often been mistakenly treated as a separate vintage (1504 or 1508)."
